Nynke, Many colors are wonderful. You have always had a good eye.
Play- and offer what your really like - I'm sure it will be wonderful.

Nice to have your caring oversight for another month. Hugs.

Eileen, what a kewl idea! I have access to the code, so perhaps we can. OR we could have one on the frontpage, up top, and give an explanation there?

Wayne, I dunno. Perhaps we can figure that out. For proper discernment we need more different perspectives here. Inductive paths (that I like 'em much better than deductive paths) sometimes take looong debates, but they sure do give us access to life through what we want, and that is quite healthy in my book. :-)

We could postpone our starting date for voting if and when we need more time. Flames tend to not allow for writing in stone, even when blue.

Becky, how about we make a colorful flame, and I animate it. My starting date for working with street kids is (at least) postponed until Dec 1, so I am leaving for Bretagne tomorrow, and I can work from there on a colorful flame. While I travel, will you consider which flame will have what colors? Perhaps we best think chakra's for those are globally known/associated?

It's not quick and easy. My first animation (of the blue flame) had 300 images.

We were ignorant (perpetrators and victims), now we're a rock solid blue flame, and since there is a debt to the light, where we are going is a rising sun flame part?

The flame is a beautiful icon rich with meaning for some Satir folks. I have had a piece of flame jewerly since the early nineties. I never knew until Stephen's post what it meant.

I'm wondering if the icon with its meaning about possibilities captures what this Satir Network is all about. Is there a more appropriate one? Do we really need one? I hope more people weigh in on this before we start voting.

Zacharia Zypp's is the name of the Crested Butte store. I love this store and always go in and at least window shop when I visit Crested Butte.

If we decide to use the flame, I would like for visitors to be able to mouse over the flame to see a popup brief explanation of it's meaning.

Of course we can?
This is an example set harmonious colors.

Which colors go in "what we were"?
Pink and purple, with some blue?

Which colors in "what we are"?
I'd say the middle flame goes in blue shades, for that is what the Avanta colors are now.

Which colors go in "what we shall become"?
From Wayne's theme, and from what someone changed it to previously, where we are going would be more green and brown, like harmonious "nature" colors?
Like, if we take this color scheme, perhaps

I wonder if the flame can be rainbow colored?
Can we do more than blues?
I like blue and at the same time would like to have something with more "diversity"
(tossing some vegetables in the pot :)

I cannot restore to the last theme, because I don't know its settings. I could restore to the one before that, which I more or less did. What if we were to take the basic design of the "Family" theme, and we change it? Practice on personal pages?

In which case my mind goes ... what to delete/change/add from the Family theme?

Add flame.
Change colors - use harmonious flame color combinations, or harmonious colors from the theme that Stephen has on his page?
What more?

I, too, preferred the flame icon....having been at Crested Butte one summer. It was after Virginia's death, and Zacharas, if it's the store I'm thinking of, made beautiful pendants of the flames--and I still have two which I cherish with fond memories....and how possibilities became realities...

I like the design but not the color.
Liked the flame icon and the history has meaning. It was chosen by a group in Colorado during a summer training and made in Crested Butte at a store called "Zacharas" The layers each have a meaning. The small inside flame means "what we were", the middle flame means "what we are", and the third flame means "what we shall become". It is about our possibilities.
