Right from the start, meeting her work through her students Jerry and Jean, I felt the click of the chakra's. And it seemed blatantly obvious when I met the Self Esteem kit. The Satir Change Model appears to be a somewhat simplified form of what shamans name an "infinity loop". Will post that.

Were Virginia's methods and models influenced by energy artists she played with at Esalen, such as: Chungliang Al Huang, Ida Rolf, Moshe Feldenkrais, George Leonard, Alan Watts and Carl Rogers ... I suspect she was influenced by the yogis, martial artists, bodyworkers and philosophers she encountered while being a scholar in residence. This is a theory of mine, strongly intuited, mostly while immersed in the chi field of her direct students. I would be curious to hear opinions, and stories from others that confirm or contradict, and add color and music to this topic

Nynke might have told you this would be interesting. I read that you thought applying energy arts to the Satir model and processes could be useful.

I discussed the concept of archetypes and sacred geometry to group dynamics -- maybe there are synergies to be built upon.

Still somewhere/time in the slight future for me though.
