What we need monies for?
- By default, Ning reserves the right to run ads on social networks. I have chosen to remove the ads on our network, which also allows us to run ads from any advertising network if and when we so choose. Cost $19.95 per month.
- By default, a ning social network displays the web address chosen when creating the network, and it is of the form ourname.ning.com. An option enables us to use a different domain name for our network. For that we need to purchase a domain name from a domain registrar first. The Ning cost of this option is $4.95 per month per domain name. Domain registrars ask different prices, usually the fee does not exceed $20 per year.
- By default, a ning social network displays links who created the network and for members to create their own social networks on Ning. Removing these links is an option. This will not remove references to the Ning ID or the Ningbar at the top of a network. Cost $7.95 per month.
- By default, a ning social network comes with a quota of 10GB of storage and 100GB of bandwidth. This is a network with approximately 5,000 photos or 500 videos. By the time we have outgrown that we can purchase additional units of 10GB of storage and 100GB of bandwidth for 9.95 per month, per unit.
- A webshop is expected, and that option requires us to think financial systems through even more.

Amounts in the tip jar are okay. I think - good to see growing contribution, yes?
