I am somehow supposed to be... an author, a poet and an artist; my author's work is related to the former colony Dutch Indonesia / Hindia Belanda (basically this is in Dutch or for the biggest part...; my descent so is... Indo-European... or Eurasian), my poet's work was-is making and performing verses and i make in several languages then and... my artist's work is trying to show Poetry in a perhaps less conventional way (if any convention...), but in fact all my work is related and is a Work of Poetry and i "have" sort of "my own" philosophy et cetera... on "words" which so is the 'logos' (from Greek) and all my work is related to 'poesis' (so that is Greek for "creation") and well this a too short description, so perhaps only an "impression" of what i feel i cannot convey... ;-) for it all goes beyond and this is which i love and like; yet it is why... i make my work and do all whatever work that i feel is related. I like to make people feel in contact with themselves when they meet my work. I do not believe in "competition" (though but in sports...), and in fact i... do not believe in the "art world" because i do not believe in "the way of the world" so to speak... and i have noticed that what is named the "art world" is but another "way of the world", i.e.: there is too much despair and other "negative" side-effects; yet what i mean to say with all this is that i do love life all in all and i do love art and knowledge, but i do not like the "ego" blow up as i see this is erosion of love, art and knowledge. I love Truth most and try to stay true to myself as i acknowledge my life a gift. Yet i am far from perfect but perhaps i have learned to let go of any strife for perfection, though only perhaps... Well, this "about me" is very unfinished and non-final. Yes, i want a New World... and try to do what i can the best i can for making this come true where it comes to my contribution, participation... "et cetera", being myself..., being whom i must be in this life.

To quote Nynke "Brede grijns en warme knufs" - the only Dutch I understand. (Although Nynke taught me a bit more - and my handy Traveler's guide had phrases that sent Nynke into full body laughter)
