- About me
- I am a licensed marriage, family therapist with a private practice in my home in San Mateo, CA. Much of my work is with court ordered, high conflict parents doing co-parent counseling. I also do reunification or unification work with parent and child. The remainder of my practice is with families or individuals including children.
- My Satir experience/work
- I began with a month long training in Crested Butte, CO in the summer of 1984. From that time on I trained and worked with the Satir model including with Virginia Satir until she died. I've given courses in Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Parenting and communication always using the Satir Model as my basis and way of thinking.
- My interests/hopes and wishes
- In Denver at the Satir Conference I gave a workshop on "Dealing with high conflict parents using the Satir Model" This is what I do and I would like to teach others who work with or would like to work with this difficult population.
