- About me
- I am 56 years old, living in Costa Rica for the last 13 years. I am an active member of my community and seek opportunities to make life pleasant for those around me.
- My Satir experience/work
- I first encountered Virginia Satir's work when I was a young (15) adolescent as a consequence of reading books to my mother who was a Social Worker and working on her Master's thesis in Family Therapy. I used to read the books into a tape recorder that my mother later listened to. Unbeknownst to me, Ms. Satir was having a profound influence on the way I began to see the 'family structure' and communication.
- My interests/hopes and wishes.
- I am passionate about people living life to the fullest and anything I can do to help that is my goal.
- I am wishing to join this group for the following reasons;
- To improve and practice better communication.
