- About me
- I spent 25 years in business consulting, tax consulting, owned my owned business. I went back to graduate school to pursue what I consider my life's work of supporting families more directly. I love the water, cooking, sailing, and my Chinise Crested powder puff. I have 3 children and a husband of 29 years.
- My Satir experience/work
- I practice with Jean McClendon and Regina Ragan at Satir Systems and am active as a board member of Satir Institute of the Southeast. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFTA), CPA. I am also studying Emotionally Focused Therapy in the context of couples work in combination with the Satir Model. I have experience using the Satir Model with chronic illness in the context of pancreatic cancer at Duke University with patients, families and clinicians.
