Thanks so much for your note. The unfolding mystery of ourselves lends itself to the ageold Jesuit concept of discernment. Therein lies the struggle and the excitement of our individual lives. Discerning not only what is unhealthy in the totality of our process, but also more importantly what is healthy. Perhaps if I can get out of my own way, I can discover what it is that I do that is holding me back, in order to discover what will help me move forward.
Good luck on the Board - I know the community is in good hands with your foresight and energy.
Thanks a lot for your information. I will visit the website to understand about the enriching skills program. And I did book a few books from the Virginia Satir Global Bookstore yesterday, though haven't got confirmation yet. I plan not only to learn from the book, but also get familiar with the terminologies, so that I might be assist others to spread Satir in China as a interpreter.
Really appreciate you sharing with me the information. Thanks,
Thank you, Sharon. I'm working with hundreds of youth and adult students in South Florida schools and have been thinking about how to encourage regular use of the Daily Temperature Reading within classrooms. In PAIRS classes for youth, adults and organizations, we've long taught a somewhat modified version of the DTR, specifically: Appreciations, New Information, Puzzles, Concerns with Recommendations (or Complaints with Requests for Change), Wishes, Hopes and Dreams. I'd be very interested in posters and other media that help reinforce the DTR and encourage regular use.
Thanks for your comments, Sharon. I hope you will hear from one of my satir students who is moving to your area right now. Gabriella. all the best, Sandy
Thanks for the comment! How are you? I have a job interview Wednesday so I will keep you posted as things progress. I'm still living in Santa Cruz and $ is tight, but I will keep August on the calendar. Hope you are well!!!

Dear Sharon! We met in Long Beach when I was guest of my friend, Charmaine Pack. It was cca. in 1993. You gave me two books written by you about Virginia. I used to read them, thank you.
Much love
